Are you looking for a Jewish learning experience for your family that feels joyful, welcoming, and truly personal? Come discover the Weiner Religious School (WRS) at Congregation Beth Torah this Summer! With small class sizes and a warm, inclusive environment, our teachers support all kinds of learners as they explore what it means to live a Jewish life. At WRS, Judaism comes alive through hands-on learning, creative programs, holiday celebrations, Hebrew games, nature activities, and meaningful mitzvah projects that connect Jewish tradition to the world around us. With a focus this year on the environment and tikkun olam, our program is built on the backs of justice and kindness. From our youngest students discovering the wonder of Jewish holidays to our teens exploring identity, justice, and community, WRS helps every child grow in confidence, curiosity, and Jewish pride.
See the magic for yourself at either of the upcoming WRS Open Houses. These Open Houses are designed for parents and students. PreK-5th Graders plan to come from 1-3 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay the whole time, or return at 2:30 p.m. for a brief meeting about the WRS program. Please RSVP with the names/ages of students and names of parents attending on Sunday, July 12 and/or August 9 (1-3 p.m.)

Weiner Religious School Registration is Now Open!
Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 Weiner Religious School year at Congregation Beth Torah! We are so excited to welcome Rabbi Craig Lewis on July 1, as we begin a new chapter in our school community and explore this year’s theme, Judaism Through an Environmental Lens. WRS offers an inclusive and engaging Jewish education experience for students in PreK through high school, featuring Hebrew, holidays, social justice, hands-on learning, and meaningful community connections.
T.A.G. (grades 6–8) will move to Sundays during WRS next year, while Confirmation programming (grades 9+) is being developed with Rabbi Lewis, with details to be announced soon concerning the schedule and how the Madrichim program will be affected. Returning WRS families generally do not need to complete a new registration form unless there have been significant changes to contact, emergency, or medical information—simply email Sara Glass at sglass@beth-torah.org to let us know your student is returning. New families and those with updates should complete the official registration process.
