When a young person becomes bar/bat mitzvah, they become, literaly, a "son/daughter of the commandments." One who has reached the age of b'nai mitzvah is no longer a minor according to Jewish law and custom, but is now seen as responsible for adhering to the system of Jewish religious obligations.

The b'nei mitzvah process is an important coming-of-age ritual, and the ceremony serves as public recognition of this rite. We are so proud and honored to participate in the lives of our Jewish youth and look forward to celebrating our upcoming b'nei mitzvah!
