Join your friends one Friday each month to create delicious goods for our Oneg Shabbat. Participants take turns being a “lead baker” who brings a recipe and any needed special ingredients. After we bake, we sample our wares and enjoy each other’s company.

For more than 11 years Beth Torah has been a distribution point for food provided by Harvesters. The Back Snack program provides boxes of nutritious, child-friendly food for school children to take home. Over 100,000 children in our area receive free or reduced-price school lunches and are at risk of hunger over the weekend. We deliver boxes of food to Pawnee Elementary School.

*Participants are assigned days to deliver boxes of food on Thursday mornings when school is in session

Appreciate the richness and complexity of our Jewish homeland by “meeting” three members of the “Israeli Construction Crew,” visiting three historical sites and experiencing three critical moments in contemporary history. Selected “stops” on our journey will inspire discussion and storytelling. We will NOT be discussing the current political situation.

Join an expert canoer, river historian and environmental biologist on two canoe trips next Spring. Beginners to advanced canoers and families are welcome!
