Welcome To Another Round Of CBT Pick-A-Parties!

Celebrate 5780 by gathering with friends old and new at a Pick-a-Party. The opportunity to secure a place at the party of your choosing kicks off after Rosh Hashanah services. There are 11 unique parties ranging from brunch and bagel making to gourmet dinners to hayrides. There’s something for everyone. This is your chance to spend time in an intimate setting with friends while making a donation to Beth Torah.

Pick-a-Party is both a fundraiser and a community-builder all in one so DON’T MISS OUT!


#2  Hot Baseball
Maximize your baseball mood during the World Series with the hot romantic comedy Bull Durham. Enjoy baseball-themed food and drink in reclining leather seats on the big screen in the theater at Linda's condo on the Plaza. Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon were very young!

#1  River Market Tour

Let's meet at Union Station and take the streetcar to the River Market where we will join a one-hour River Market Walking Tour. After the tour, we'll enjoy coffee at the Opera House. You can take the streetcar back to Union Station whenever you choose.

#3  Canvasses and Cabernet
Enhance your Chanukah decorations with an original artwork. Wine, sparkling water, desserts and all art supplies provided. Bring an apron (optional). Party hosts will lead you through creating a painting designed for this activity. No talent or experience necessary.

#9  The Seder in Art: Famous Jewish Art
Haggadahs have been a locus of Jewish art for nearly 1,000 years. Rabbi Levin will share the art and meaning from 3 famous handmade Haggadahs: the 14th century Barcelona haggadah, the 1930s Szyk hagagadah and the contemporary David Moss haggadah.  Snacks, desserts and beverages included.
