Celebrate Congregation Beth Torah’s 30th anniversary by gathering with friends old and new at a Pick-a-Party.  There are 32 unique parties ranging from brunch and bagel making to gourmet dinners. There is something for everyone. Whether you want to enjoy yoga and breakfast; go on a scavenger hunt, a hayride, float trip, or motorcycle ride; celebrate Havdalah together or be part of an interactive art project; here is your chance to spend time in an intimate setting with friends while making a donation to Beth Torah.

Please note that you will receive a separate statement from CBT for the cost of any parties held before June 15th. After that, the charge will appear on your regular statement. Kindly pay for tickets ahead of the party date.

#2  Breakfast and Recreational Activity at the Franklin's
The Franklins have turned their dining room into a bistro and will serve several hot breakfast selections, breakfast cocktails, and lots of fresh fruit. Depending on the weather and guests' energy levels/preferences, you will take a stroll on the bike trails or watch a movie about the inception of the Israeli Air Force.

#15 KC Zoo to You!
Come visit with Zoo Educators and their Animal Ambassadors and touchable biofacts. The educators will focus on conservation, with the objectives to gain a renewed interest in wildlife and conservation issues, learn ways to personally aid in conservation, and  explore new information about animals and the Kansas City Zoo. Pizza will be served followed by an ice cream bar for dessert!

#16 Make Your Mark– A Creative Workshop
Linda and Barry Katz invite you to be enlivened and inspired at this hands-on workshop event that focuses on creative collaboration. This is an innovative and structured art workshop facilitated by two Hallmark Master Artists, Lynn Giunta and Craig Lueck. (Check out Instagram, or Facebook to see their work.) Prompted and instructed by these experts, you will learn and explore with tools and techniques that make creating fast and fun! Come join us for dinner, drinks, the workshop and a chance to win one of the two pieces of framed artwork that you helped to create. No artistic  skill or talent is required. That will emerge as you work with your dinner companions and the talented and charming consulting artists. No supplies needed.

#28 Harry Potter Party
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to a special preview session of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in honor of CBT’s 30th birthday. You will have a chance to sample a few classes and make your own butterbeer (Sorry, no grand feast; it’s the house-elves’ night off.) If you accept the invitation, you are to report to platform 9¾ on March 30, 2019 at 6:30 pm. (Muggle address: CBT). You will be transported to Diagon Alley to obtain your school robes, and then to Hogwarts, where sorting will commence promptly upon your arrival.
