TOT SHABBAT

There are now three unique opportunities for young children and the adults who love them to come together to celebrate Shabbat with a service just for them! Congregation Beth Torah, Congregation Beth Shalom, and The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah are opening our doors to encourage all of our youngest members to celebrate Shabbat with community. No matter which Shabbat services you attend, you will see a  friendly  face.  Each service is as unique as its hosting congregation , sharing a common thread of celebrating Shabbat with songs, prayers and snuggles. We look forward to coming together in community with  the goal of raising children who love celebrating Shabbat.

First Friday of the month

The Temple, B’nai Jehudah, 5:30 to 6:30  p.m. The celebration begins with a nosh and Shabbat table blessings at 5:30 p.m. At 6:00 p.m. young children and their adults go to their Shabbat Pod for a teffilah experience tailored just for them.

Second Friday of the month

Congregation Beth Torah,  5:45 to 6:20 p.m.   Child friendly nosh begins at 5:45 p.m. and remains available during the service.   Following the  song filled worship  in the Sader-Shimkin Library/Chapel, families stay to schmooze or go to the regular 6:30 p.m. congregational service (childcare is available) or take the Shabbat feeling home.

Third Saturday of the month

Congregation Beth Shalom, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.    Enjoy singing, dancing, stories, Tefillot (prayer) and a short Torah Reading and Torah Parade! After shmoozing with the other families you are welcome to join the rest of the congregation for the end of services and kiddish luncheon
