It's time to renew your WBT membership for 2010- 2011!
Kelly Kaplan is the membership chairperson for the Women of Beth Torah and now, that the school years is over, it is time to join our group.
Women of Beth Torah have done many exciting and innovative things in the past year. We have begun to partner with other synagogues to increase our community involvement. We have made donations to our synagogue including: funds to purchase additional tables and chairs; funds to support the CBT families in need; provided a gift to each B’nai Mitzvah student; hosted a women’s retreat; participated in the Suicide Prevention Walk; and of course, we have many things to come.
Women of Beth Torah love to have fun, whether it is learning to play Mah Jongg, participating in Needles and Nosh, or enjoying a Comfort Food and Book Exchange. We are trying to have some thing for every member.
Don’t see what you like?? Make a suggestion.
I have heard some people say they haven’t become a member because they don’t have the time. WBT would love to meet you, but we are not asking for your time. Another person told me that she did not join because she thought that you had to be Jewish. WBT is a group of women and men who belong to Congregation Beth Torah.
Join today by filling out the form below and make your check for $25.00 to WBT, then mail it to:

The Women of Beth Torah's primary source of income is you! We hope you will support us through your membership, shopping at the gift shop and purchasing at our fund raisers. This year's fundraising event will be: challah sale, December child care day, in April a shop for the "women in your life" sale featuring miscellaneous collection of items.
Some of the areas we are working on several projects including: setting up and delivering birthday boxes for Spofford in October, a children's party at Spofford in Oct., drop off turkeys in November for Harvesters and Pleasant Green Baptist Church(120 turkeys are needed to feed people for Thanksgiving), and on December 12th we will have a fundraiser when from noon to 4pm WBT will provided child care.
Please mark the date of our "Evening under the Stars" on Sept. 27th our annual membership event in the sukkah. We will have a wonderful evening celebrating this fun holiday. In January, we will have our "Comfort Food and Book Exchange". Every one is invited so start thinking of the book you want to trade and share with the group. Plus, other activities including a Women's Seder on April 7th, 2011.
Join Women of Beth Torah and fund another part of congregational life. Women of Beth Torah offers something for everyone. We welcome you to call any board member for further information.
