SASS Remembrance Walk

Suicide Awareness Survivor Support (SASS) will hold its 10th Annual Remembrance Walk on Sunday, September 8th,  at Loose Park, 51st and Wornall, KC MO.  The walk was started to help unite people who have experienced the loss of a loved one to a traumatic death such as suicide, homicide, fire or accident. Proceeds help with suicide awareness, education, prevention and survivor support.  The Remembrance Walk begins with registration at 8:00 a.m.  The walk will begin in Loose Park at 9:00  a.m. with a dove release following.  Registration fee for the walk is $25. Participants can register online at http://www. sass-mokan.com/Sass-walk/.  This will be FOX TV reporter Matt Stewart’s fifth year to host the event.
