Are you artistic? Do you enjoy creating or performing? Check out this camp for artists of all kinds! Combining workshops and courses in music, film, visual arts, writing, and theater, this four week Jewish summer experience, BIMA, takes place from July 6th through August 6th. Deadlines to apply are February 2nd and March 16th.
Another choice at Brandeis, Genesis is open to students who will be juniors or seniors in the fall 2009. This program offers study and workshops in areas such as Israel, journalism, law, and world religions this summer from July 6th through August 6th. Deadlines to apply are February 2nd and March 16th.
The Legacy Heritage Internship for Young Scientists is a year-long experience which commences with a six-week summer program. This program is for highs school juniors and seniors, and provides them with hands-on experience with Israeli scientists and Jewish learning. Livnot is the premiere Israel experience geared towards Jews 21-30 with little or no background in Judaism. The WUJS program offers a unique, post-college, combination of Jewish and Israel studies, professional work experience, Hebrew Ulpan, Jewish experiences, organized group tiyulim (hikes) and cultural events throughout Israel.
Teach and Study Program (TASP) interns are university graduates who wish to participate in a two year work study program during which they will teach English in the Israeli public school system and study for an MA degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). You will also experience the satisfaction of teaching Israeli children English while developing. leadership and communication skills.

Local Kansas City Opportunities for 18-23 year olds
YPI is an initiative for young Jewish adults 21-45 living in the greater Kansas City area. YPI is funded by two organizations: The Jewish Heritage Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City. This initiative is under the auspices of the CAJE Learning for Life Program. The mission of YPI is to facilitate networking opportunities between young Jewish adults with shared interests through affinity/interest groups.
