Day of Tikkun Olam 2009

Beth Torah members on Sunday, May 3rd, joined local churches and Islamic communinities for an interfaith day of service. We worked together to beautify the Key Coalition neighborhood at 27th and Prospect, in partnership with the Kansas City Metropolitian Crime Commission. (See flier below for details)
Projects included preparing a community garden, shrub/tree removal, house clean-up and neighborhood beautification. Thank you SO much to all those who came and participated, and especially to those who helped plan the event. Stay tuned for information on mitzvah day!
