Other Social Justice Projects
Social Justice Projects throughout the year:
Back Snack Program
Congregation Beth Torah is proud to be working with Harvesters Food Network to help address the hunger needs of Kansas City school children. We will be filling backpacks with donated food here at Beth Torah to assure that 30 Satchel Paige Elementary school children will have the nourishment needed for learning. Our team of volunteers would love to have you involved. Please call the Beth Torah office for more information at (913) 498-2212.
Youth Friends
If you have 1 extra hour a week, you have time for Youth Friends, an innovative school-based mentoring program that connects caring adult mentors with students in grades K-12. Youth Friends offers a simple, flexible and meaningful way to make a difference in the life of a young person. For more information, please contact Bryan and Felice Azorsky – (913) 381-8976 or fazorsky@yahoo.com
